Welcome to the Vibecoders Institute ("The Institute"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to our website, the submission of examination artifacts, and participation in our certification process. By accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Institute operates as an independent certification body. Our services are limited to the assessment and recognition of skills related to AI-assisted software development ("Vibe Coding").
1.1 No Guarantee of Results Certification is an acknowledgement of demonstrated behavioral and cognitive capability based on the specific artifacts submitted. It does not constitute a warranty of the applicant's future performance, technical infallibility, or suitability for any specific employment.
1.2 Methodology Assessments are conducted according to the Assessment Protocol and Methodological Framework published on our website. The Institute reserves the right to update these standards at any time to reflect the evolving nature of AI technology.
2.1 Applicant Warranties By submitting artifacts (logs, transcripts, videos, or code snippets) for review, you represent and warrant that:
2.2 License to The Institute You retain full ownership of the code and logs you submit. However, by submitting, you grant The Institute a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, non-transferable license to access, use, store, and analyze these artifacts solely for the purpose of conducting the examination and internal audit.
2.3 Prohibition on Proprietary Secrets The Institute explicitly discourages the submission of highly sensitive, classified, or strictly proprietary corporate data. You are solely responsible for sanitizing and redacting your artifacts. The Institute disclaims all liability for any breach of confidentiality obligations you may owe to your employer or clients resulting from your submission.
3.1 Manual Review You acknowledge that your submission will be reviewed by human examiners. While we enforce strict confidentiality protocols, you accept the inherent risks associated with transmitting data for manual review.
3.2 Finality of Decisions The grading decisions made by the Examination Board are final. While we employ a Consensus Model to resolve internal divergences, there is no external appeals process for subjective grading decisions regarding "Competence," "Fluency," or "Mastery."
3.3 Disqualification The Institute reserves the right to disqualify any applicant and revoke any certificate if it discovers:
4.1 The Internal Registry The Institute maintains a permanent internal record of all certified practitioners. By accepting certification, you grant the Institute permission to store and process your Name, Designation (Level I/II/III), and Certification Date.
4.2 Digital Credentials & Verification Upon successful certification, you will be issued a digital credential containing a unique serial number and a QR code. This QR code links to a public verification page hosted by the Institute. You acknowledge and agree that this verification page—displaying your Name, Designation, and Certification Date—will be publicly accessible to anyone possessing your unique link or QR code.
4.3 Public Directory The Institute reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to publish a searchable General Registry of certified practitioners. By agreeing to these Terms, you grant the Institute permission to include your credentials in this directory should it be made available. The Institute is under no obligation to maintain a publicly browseable list during the initial launch phase (Founding Cohort).
4.4 Revocation The Institute reserves the right to disable a verification link and revoke certification if a practitioner is found to have violated the Code of Ethics or if the artifacts used to obtain the certification are proven to be fraudulent.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE INSTITUTE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Institute, its officers, acting chairs, and examiners from any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and costs and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms or your violation of any third-party rights (including intellectual property or employment agreements).
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Institute is domiciled, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
